Praiatea
In a world shaped by machines and mass production, there is something deeply captivating about the patience and precision of the human hand. In 2024, this fascination led to the birth of our brand a journey sparked by the art of block print.
This centuries old technique, where carved wooden blocks imprint vivid patterns onto fabric, felt like a quiet rebellion against uniformity. Each print, slightly imperfect yet full of life, is a testament to the beauty found in craftsmanship, in slowing down, in embracing the unrepeatable.
Inspired by the ancient trade routes, where merchants and travelers carried not just skills and spices but also stories woven into textiles, we celebrate the essence of movement, freedom, and connection. Our fabrics, soft and fluid, invite you to live fully whether wandering through nature, gathering with friends for a shared meal, or simply breathing in a moment of stillness.
More than just pieces, we create companions for those who seek harmony between body, mind, and the nature. Each thread carries the warmth of tradition, the richness of artisanal craftsmanship, and the spirit of adventure. In every fold, in every print, there is an invitation to embrace authenticity, to move freely, to celebrate life in its most organic form. Learn more.

Trail's End Cheesecakes
The first time I baked a cheesecake; I enlisted the help of my father as my husband of 2 years wanted a Butterfinger cheesecake and I couldn't find one in any store. So, we made one. circa January 2004. I'd like to say I've been baking them ever since, but that's not true. I started baking them again in 2014 to pay for my running a half marathon or longer in all 50 states while spreading awareness to the veteran suicide rate. I completed the majority of the races with the nonprofit 22 Too Many. I completed a fellowship in entrepreneurship with the nonprofit Dog Tag, Inc; based out of DC. I was in their 5th cohort based out of Chicago in partnership with Loyola University. My cannoli cheesecake's roots were formed with my baking group with this fellowship. Now, I am setting up at the local farmer's market and other small events in St. Charles MO. People order and pick up from my house until I can land a perfect location on Main Street St. Charles. You can also swing by Trolley Stop Bakery located off 141 and Olive at 67 Forum Shopping Center to pick up a refreshing cheesecake mini. The goal is to leave a legacy for our daughters and their families if that is the route they choose.
