Guest Services/Event Staff

Description:
As a member of the Guest Services Team at Saint Louis Music Park, you will be an essential part of the Guest experience and help build memories that last a lifetime. In this role, you will wear many different hats and have the potential to work in several different areas of the Saint Louis Music Park. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to ushering, ticket scanning, concourse customer service, greeter. You will have the opportunity to assist our guests by offering directions and sharing information while creating a World Class experience. Your job will be to keep our fans safe and informed while still maintaining a fun and friendly atmosphere

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Prepare your assigned section for guests; this could include wiping down seats, looking for potential hazards, reporting any issues to a supervisor
  • Scan event tickets ensuring that the proper ticket is being used to gain entry
  • Assist fans in locating their ticketed seats
  • Enforce all building policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests

Bartender

Description:
The Bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They must be personable, professional and able to work in an ever changing fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol
  • Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Must check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages
  • Bartenders are expected to de-escalate intoxicated guest situations. If a guest becomes confrontational, belligerent, or uses extreme profanity, the bartender may contact management or security as required
  • Maintains clean and sanitary work station at all times. Ensures bar equipment is clean & well maintained

Cashier

Description:
The Cashier utilizes a cash register and accepts payment.  Prepares and serves concession items to guests.  Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests.  Ensures quality of food presentation. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Conduct the cash register sales by entering the orders and completing the transaction
  • Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels, and communicating to the Concessions Stand Manger of low stock items
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work space including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes
  • Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns
  • Serve beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages responsibly. Must check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages

Full-Time Opportunities

Operations Manager

Description:
Operations Manager reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for assisting with front and back of house services, technical services, information technology, conversion, and janitorial services at the Centene Community Ice Center and the seasonal concert venue, Saint Louis Music Park. Assists with controlling operations expenses, and performs related day to day responsibilities as required. Supervises and coordinates the operations of the Customer Service Representatives and Shift Supervisors.   Will assist with developing customer service policies and training for the Customer Service employees.  Exceptional customer service and standards of excellence are a key component to the vision of excellence.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Performs and leads facility conversions both at the ice center and the seasonal concert venue
  • Schedule and maintain schedules for Customer Service Representatives and Supervisors of Facility as well as janitoral staff at both facilities 
  • Supervision of CSR and Janitorial employees
  • Assure that the event, hockey, and concert areas are set-up in accordance with lessee agreements, safety, fire, and health codes
  • Make or arrange for last‑minute adjustments in room or equipment set‑ups at the request of customer
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the facility
