Our Learn To Skate classes are hosted by the City of Maryland Heights Parks & Recreation Department and are figure skating, hockey, and just for fun from ages 3 to adult. Each session is 8 weeks and no experience is required!
Specialty classes are also offered for more advanced skaters including the Jump and Spin class and the Stroking and Edges class which focus on power skating, endurance, and different turns.
Registration is required at least two days before the start of class.
Fee (per 8 week session): Resident: $115 • Non-Resident: $145
The all-inclusive price includes:
- 30 minutes of skate instruction
- Skate rental during class
- 8 public skating passes (passes expire on last day of session)
- A Learn to Skate USA membership which includes a welcome packet
- Secondary sports accident insurance
