Ice Operations

Description:
Under the direction of the Director of Ice Operations and Ice Operations Manager, the Ice Operations crew is responsible to clean the ice between scheduled skating sessions and perform daily ice maintenance on the mulitple rinks and maintainence of all ice resurfacing equipment.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Safely operate Olympia Ice Resurfacer to maintain the ice surface before, during and after groups
  • Assist with the daily maintenance of all Ice Resurfacing equipment 
  • Preform daily ice maintenance; including but not limited to building, grooming, ice depths
  • Assist with yearly ice removal and installation

Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Description:
Customer Service Representative is responsible for the Front Information Desk.  This is where the Customer Service Representative can be most effective to greet our guests, answer questions, check in vendors, accept and log deliveries, answer incoming telephone calls, maintain lost and found items, accept payment(s) for programs, events and point-of-sale purchases and confirm or adjust (as needed) locker room assignments.  The Customer Service Representative also performs a variety of other support for the administration office, staff and the facility in general.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Provides info about Centene Community Ice Center / Saint Louis Music Park programming, events, and concerts to walk up customers and callers
  • Responds to inquiries regarding services, facilities, programs and events
  • Deals directly with the public in person and over the phone giving out general information, answering questions, explaining procedures and gathering facts and pertinent information regarding problems and complaints
  • Operates computerized public information and reservation systems in an efficient and accurate manner

CSR Supervisor

Description:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Operations and Operations Managers, the Supervisor on Duty has the primary responsibility manage day-to-day operations that include, but are not limted to, programs, events and physical facilities.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Manage day-to-day operations that include, but are not limited to, programs, events and physical facilities
  • Execute policies and procedures professionally and accurately
  • Supervision of CSR and Janitorial employees
  • Immediate and complete reporting of all liability issues

Bartender

Description:
The Bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They must be personable, professional and able to work in an ever changing fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol
  • Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Must check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages
  • Bartenders are expected to de-escalate intoxicated guest situations. If a guest becomes confrontational, belligerent, or uses extreme profanity, the bartender may contact management or security as required
  • Maintains clean and sanitary work station at all times. Ensures bar equipment is clean & well maintained

Cashier

Description:
The Cashier utilizes a cash register and accepts payment.  Prepares and serves concession items to guests.  Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests.  Ensures quality of food presentation. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Conduct the cash register sales by entering the orders and completing the transaction
  • Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels, and communicating to the Concessions Stand Manger of low stock items
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work space including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes
  • Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns
  • Serve beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages responsibly. Must check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages

Hockey Operations

Description:
This position will assist in the Hockey Operations and Programming Department at Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Assistance is needed in both on and off ice programming operations.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Assist in the coaching of skating and hockey, scorekeeping, skate guard, league/tournament supervisior
  • Display a passion and understanding for hockey/skating
  • Must have hockey or skating experience (for coaching)
